Central Mountain Air (9M, Smithers) has doubled its Bombardier Aerospace turboprop fleet following the acquisition of four ex-Piedmont Airlines Dash 8-100s.

According to deal facilitator Avmax Aircraft Leasing, the aircraft are msn 302, 308, 321, and 329 all of which are undergoing pre-delivery maintenance.

The Canadian regional carrier currently operates four other Q100s alongside three Do328-100s and fourteen Beech 1900Ds on scheduled and chartered flights throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
