Sunwing Airlines (WG, Toronto Pearson) has resumed international services from Mont Joli, QC, connecting the city with Cancún and Punta Cana.

The carrier said in a press release that it launched services from the Quebecois airport on December 13, 2018, and will operate them weekly through April 11, 2019. Sunwing Airlines already operated seasonal international flights from Mont Joli in the Winter 2017/18 season.

According to the ch-aviation capacity module, on a year-round basis, Mont Joli sees exclusively domestic traffic operated by Pascan Aviation, Air Canada, and PAL Airlines (Canada).

Sunwing Airlines is a leisure-focussed scheduled operator with a fleet of thirty-three B737-800s and two B737-8s. It also wet-leases two -800s from Smartwings (Czechia) (QS, Prague Václav Havel) and two units of the type from TUI fly (Belgium) (TB, Brussels National) for the winter season. Sunwing operates predominantly out of Toronto Pearson and Montréal Trudeau.
