Link PNG (Port Moresby) will resume its services to Tari in the central part of Papua New Guinea on February 10, 2019, Post-Courier has reported.

The airline, which is the sole operator at the airport, previously suspended services to Tari in December 2018 due to long grass intruding on the runway and trees in the take-off area. Since then, Tari runway had been cleared and reconstructed to meet all necessary safety requirements.

Flights from Port Moresby will operate 2x weekly directly.

Link PNG, a subsidiary of Air Niugini (PX, Port Moresby), currently operates two Dash 8-200s and five Dash 8-300s.
