SkyWest Airlines (OO, Salt Lake City) has signed a firm order agreement with Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) for nine additional E175s. The jets will begin delivering later this year and will be operated for Delta Air Lines under the Delta Connection banner.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, SkyWest currently operates 146 E175s of which 49 are operated for Delta Connection, 32 for Alaska Airlines under its Alaska SkyWest brand, and 65 for United Airlines under its United Express brand.
The Utah-based capacity provider also operates three CRJ100s, 184 CRJ200s, 103 CRJ700s, and forty-two CRJ900s.
