El Al Israel Airlines (LY, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) has ended B767 operations following the retirement of its last active B767-300(ER) on February 3. Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows 4X-EAJ (msn 25208) conducted its last revenue service as flight LY382 Milan Malpensa-Tel Aviv Ben Gurion.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, since 1983, El Al has operated a total of thirteen B767s including two B767-200s, four B767-200(ER)s, and seven B767-300(ER)s.

The outgoing jets are being replaced with B787s of which El Al operates eight B787-9s. The Israeli carrier's 3Q18 financials show it is expecting two more -9s during the second and third quarters of 2019 while during the final quarter of the year, its first pair of B787-8s will arrive. These will be complemented by one more -8 during each of the first and second quarters of 2020.
