Hunnu Air (MR, Ulaanbaatar) has signed an agreement with CDB Aviation for the lease of four E190s.

A lessor statement said the E190s would be configured in a two-class layout featuring 92 economy and 6 business class seats. Deliveries will take place in May 2019, and in 2020 and 2021.

“Hunnu Air has taken on a new direction, more committed than ever to providing convenient domestic and regional flights options to travellers," Hunnu Air Chief Executive Officer Munkhjargal Purevjal said. "In conjunction with our growing fleet by these Embraer E-190s from CDB Aviation and numerous scheduling options, we need to continue to grow our operations, and further anchor ourselves within the country’s travel landscape.”

Having recently retired its fleet of Fokker 50s, Hunnu Air now operates a pair of ATR72-500s on scheduled passenger flights to five cities across Mongolia as well as three in China, and one in Russia.
