Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen) repatriated its B737-8 stuck at Shiraz in Iran since December 14, 2018, ch-aviation research has revealed.

Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows that the aircraft was ferried from the Iranian airport to Stockholm Arlanda on February 22, 2019. It has not been reintroduced into revenue service yet.

The Boeing narrowbody was diverted to Shiraz while en route from Dubai International to Oslo Gardermoen due to an engine issue in December of last year. The carrier had since encountered formal obstacles in ferrying required spare parts to Shiraz due to the US sanctions on Iran.
