PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the wet-lease of up to six narrowbody aircraft this summer season.

Tender documents seen by ch-aviation show PIA is looking for 150+ seater aircraft in a two-class configuration to be based out of Karachi International from June onwards. Contracts are for up to six months with each jet guaranteed a minimum of 275 block hours per month. As per Pakistani law, eligible aircraft must be no older than 12 years of age.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 8.

PIA said only proposals submitted by aircraft owners/operators/leasing companies that have the legal right to sign the lease agreement would be considered. Offers received through agents/brokers/intermediaries will be rejected.
