US-Bangla Airlines (BS, Dhaka) has taken delivery of its first of three ATR72-600s following the arrival of S2-AKG (msn 1495) in Dhaka on Sunday, March 24.
The Bangladeshi carrier said in a statement that the ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprop will commence regular domestic flight services on March 31. It will be followed by msn 1485 and 1042 which are due later in the year.
US-Bangla Airlines also operates three Dash 8-400s and four B737-800s with a single B737-8 provisionally scheduled to deliver in March next year.
