Caribbean Airlines (BW, Port of Spain) has wet-leased ATR72-500 SE-MDA (msn 894) from DAT - Danish Air Transport (Kolding) subsidiary DOT LT (Kaunas International) for the summer season. The aircraft flew from Copenhagen Kastrup to Port of Spain between April 15 and 18. The contract was arranged via Airstream International Group.

Until September 8, the aircraft will operate up to 6x daily shuttling between Port of Spain and Tobago. The 25-minute flights between the two islands are the key route for Caribbean Airlines with almost 30% of its overall seat capacity deployed on the island shuttle. It is currently served with approximately 20 daily ATR72-500 services.

Caribbean also uses its own five ATR72-600 turboprops from Port of Spain to Bridgetown, Caracas Simón Bolivar, Grenada, St. Lucia Vigie, and St. Vincent Argyle International, according to the ch-aviation schedules module.
