AtlasGlobal (Istanbul Airport) will launch flights from Zonguldak to Düsseldorf, becoming the only carrier to serve the former airport, Routesonline has reported.
The Turkish leisure specialist will launch flights from Zonguldak on June 8, 2019, initially 1x weekly and increasing to 2x weekly as of June 19. Services will be onboard A321-200 aircraft.
Zonguldak, an airport on the Black Sea coast of Turkey located some 170 kilometres north of Ankara Esenboga, does not currently serve any scheduled flights. The last carrier to operate scheduled flights to the Turkish airport was Germania (Berlin Schönefeld).
