ExpressJet Airlines (Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) has taken delivery of its first E175 following the arrival of N601UX (msn 17000790) in Macon Regional on Wednesday, May 1.

The Embraer Regional Jet is one of twenty-five that will be pressed into service for United Airlines under the United Express banner. The new jets will be configured with 70 seats in a three-class configuration – United First, Economy Plus and United Economy.

ch-aviation schedule data shows United will base its first four E175s out of Houston Intercontinental from late June onwards followed by Chicago O'Hare from August onwards. Collectively, the aircraft will be used to run continental routes.

Aside from the twenty-five E175s, ExpressJet currently operates 118 aircraft for United Express including two CRJ100s, fourteen CRJ200s, and 102 E145s.
