MyWay Airlines (MJ, Tbilisi) is planning to add its third B737-800 during the course of the Summer 2019 season and hopes to grow network after it has changed its reservation system provider, Russian Aviation Insider has reported.

After having reduced its network to a single route from Tbilisi to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion for the Winter 2018/19 season, the carrier launched flights from Tbilisi to Zhukovsky on April 26. It is currently using only one of its two B737-800s, with the other one wet-leased to Sudan's Badr Airlines (J4, Khartoum), Flightradar24 ADS-B data indicates.

The airline is hoping that its business will grow after it had enhanced and diversified its distribution channels. For the Russian market, the airline, in addition to their existing Travelsky Technology and Amadeus IT Group systems chose Sirena-Travel system provider which is more common for the CIS and European regions.

A spokesperson underlined that despite the significant reduction of operations for winter, MyWay Airlines continues to be in good financial standing. The carrier is planning to grow traffic by 30% in 2019.

Besides the third Boeing narrowbody, MyWay Airlines is also mulling adding widebody aircraft in the future, although no firm plans have been made yet.
