Cobham Aviation Services Australia - Airline Services (QJE, Adelaide International) subsidiary JetEx (Australia) (Adelaide International) has resumed Embraer Regional Jet operations following the delivery of E190 VH-ZPT (msn 190000451) last week.

According to Skyliner Aviation, the former JetGo Australia twinjet was ferried from Nashville International to Perth International via Van Nuys, Hilo, Majuro, Cairns, and Alice Springs over the course of May 13-17.

In a statement, Cobham said the 98-seater jet would be deployed into service between Perth International and Barrow Island, located 50 kilometres northwest off the Pilbara coast of Western Australia, effective May 20. The route caters to oil and gas workers employed by Chevron Australia. It will also operate return flights each week to the Goldfields area of Western Australia providing fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) services to the resources sector in that region.

The carrier last used E190s to run similar services in January 2018 before retiring the type from active duty.

Its JetEx subsidiary also operates five ARJ-100s, two ARJ-85s, one BAe 146-100, one -200, and one -300 for and on behalf of Cobham itself as well as one BAe 146-100(QT) and four BAe 146-300(QT) on behalf of Qantas Freight (Sydney Kingsford Smith).
