ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda) has taken delivery of the first of two B777-Fs on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National).

JA771F (msn 65756) was ferried from Victorville to Tokyo Haneda on Thursday, May 23. It will tentatively be pressed into service on July 2 on its new Tokyo Narita-Osaka Kansai-Shanghai Pudong-Tokyo Narita route. ANA Cargo currently already operates to Shanghai 7x weekly from Kansai and 14x weekly from Narita, but with smaller B767-300(F)s.

ANA plans to use the two B777s to haul oversized/heavy cargo such as aircraft engines and automobiles, and specialized products such as lithium batteries and pharmaceuticals.

ANA currently operates a fleet of twelve B767-300Fs (one -BCF, seven -ERBCFs, and four -ERFs) on scheduled cargo flights throughout Japan as well as to China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore.
