Air Corsica (XK, Ajaccio) launched ATR42-500 operations on June 3, 2019, when it began operating shuttle flights for Airbus SE between Toulouse Blagnac, Nantes, and St. Nazaire.

The carrier will deploy its only ATR42-500, F-HAIB (msn 637), on the route. The ex-CSA Czech Airlines unit was ferried from Ajaccio on June 2. Air Corsica replaced HOP! (France), which operated the shuttle previously. As the Airbus shuttle is operated 9x weekly on working days only, the aircraft will also be deployed on routes from Corsica during the weekends, although so far it has not operated any of Air Corsica's own routes since it was delivered in late May 2019.

The ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprop is a 14-year-old unit owned by Elix Aviation Capital, the ch-aviation fleets ownership module shows.

Air Corsica also operates six A320-200s and five ATR72-500s.
