Talofa Airways (Apia Faleolo) is planning to expand into the regional South Pacific market targetting the islands of Niue as well as Wallis & Futuna Island Pointe Vele.

The privately-owned Samoan carrier currently operates three Commander 690Bs on scheduled flights between Apia Fagali'i and Apia Faleolo in Samoa and Pago Pago in American Samoa. It also offers charters from the two Samoas to Tongatapu in Tonga.

This past weekend, Talofa Airways flighted an advert in the Samoa Observer newspaper informing the public of its intention to expand to Niue and Wallis & Futuna. Respondents have 14 days from the date of publication to lodge an objection.

Samoa is also home to Samoa Airways (OL, Apia Faleolo) which uses a trio of DHC-6-300s on scheduled flights between the Samoas.
