Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) says an undisclosed customer(s) potentially ordered twenty A321neo(XLR)s during the 2019 Paris Air Show at Paris Le Bourget.
The European manufacturer made the announcement during a rundown of the orders/commitments it received during the event.
Overall, the ultra-longhaul variant of the A321neo has landed 127 orders/commitments from customers that, aside from the unknown client(s), include:
- American Airlines (50);
- Indigo Partners (50 of which 20 are for Wizz Air, 18 are for Frontier Airlines, and 12 for JetSMART);
- Qantas Group (36);
- Air Lease Corporation (27);
- Saudia (15);
- IAG International Airlines Group (14 of which 8 are for Iberia and 6 are for Aer Lingus);
- Cebu Pacific Air (10);
- MEA - Middle East Airlines (4).
Similarly, Airbus said its A320neo line had secured an order/commitment from undisclosed client(s) for 36 aircraft during the show while the A220 Family secured orders for 10 aircraft from an undisclosed airline client.
