Indonesia AirAsia (QZ, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) will launch its new base at Praya Lombok International on August 1, 2019, and will initially operate 21 weekly departures to three domestic destinations.
According to the ch-aviation schedules module, the LCC will initially operate from Lombok to:
- Denpasar (daily);
- Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta (11x weekly);
- Yogyakarta International (3x weekly).
All flights are on board A320-200 aircraft.
Indonesia AirAsia will be the only airline with a crew base at Lombok airport. Currently, the main operator at the airport is Lion Air (JT, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) with 99 weekly departures and a 49.4% market share by capacity, the ch-aviation capacities module shows.
