South African passenger charter carrier Fly Titan has rebranded to Private Sky Charter and now plans to expand with new investment partners, Travel & Meetings Buyer has reported.

Private Sky provides domestic and international private charters aimed specifically at Africa’s tourism industry and is located at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo, where its passengers have access to the Fireblade Aviation private terminal, which has its own customs and immigration clearing facilities.

The carrier operates E120, E110, Cessna (twin piston), Cessna (single turboprop), Learjet 40/45, Jetstream 41, PC-12, and Beech (twin turboprop) equipment, according to its website.

One of the new partners was named by Travel & Meetings Buyer as Javed Malik, previously founder of SkyWise, which launched in 2012 to briefly operate scheduled flights between OR Tambo and Cape Town International before shutting down at the end of 2015.

Malik is currently chair of the Regional Aviation Working Group of the South African Chapter of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) Business Council (SA-BBC).

Private Sky Charter's other new partner was named as Vinesh Sukhari, a businessman linked to various aviation and construction ventures.
