KlasJet (KLJ, Vilnius) has added its first B737-300 in the form of LY-BGS (msn 27061), the carrier's parent Avia Solutions Group said in a press release.

The 27-year-old Boeing narrowbody is dry-leased from Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing. It was ferried from Vilnius to Maastricht on July 10, 2019, for repainting and subsequently entered revenue service on July 21. It is currently wet-leased to Air Italy (Milan Malpensa) and based out of Milan Malpensa. The unit was previously operated by Belavia (B2, Minsk National) as EW-404PA and was retired by the Belarusian flag carrier on May 22, 2019.

As of the end of May 2019, the aircraft had accumulated 66,205 flight hours and 44,667 flight cycles, the ch-aviation fleets module shows. It is currently equipped with 148 economy class seats. KlasJet said it will reconfigure the aircraft into an all-business-class layout with 68 seats after the end of summer 2019.

KlasJet also added its fourth B737-500, LY-FLT (msn 26683), with a flexible business configuration featuring between 68 and 104 seats. The aircraft is currently undergoing maintenance at Maastricht airport.

"We are aiming to attract more clients from different markets with the introduction of new airplanes to our fleet. These aircraft are entering service at the time of the high demand - there are many queries and some scheduled flights already," CEO Justinas Bulka said.

The Lithuanian business charter specialist also operates one CRJ200 and one Bombardier Business Aircraft Challenger 850.
