The Bangladeshi Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has interrogated four managers of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka) for alleged corruption during the recruitments of pilots, English-language daily The Financial Express has reported.

General Manager Bushra Islam and three directors were investigated on July 28, 2019. The ACC also summoned the current CEO Farhat Hassan Jamil, his predecessor Mosaddique Ahmed, and a number of other high-level executives.

The ACC currently alleges that Mossadique and nine other officials took bribes to influence the pilot recruitment programme.

Mossadique was fired from Biman on April 30, after the allegations of "massive irregularities" were first made. His contract at the Bangladeshi flag carrier was due to end on May 30.
