Following on from its announcement earlier this month, Maldivian (Q2, Malé) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the dry-lease of one A330-200 on a 6-8 year-long contract.

According to tender documents seen by ch-aviation, the state-backed carrier said eligible aircraft should be less than 10 years of age and feature either General Electric or Rolls-Royce powerplants with a Thrust Bump option. They must also have recently completed a C-Check with no tasks due, including components, within the next 4,200 flight hours, 1,400 flight cycles, 12 months from the date of delivery. The aircraft must also be EASA compliant.

No exact delivery date was specified.

The deadline for the submission of offers is 1400L (0900Z) on Thursday, September 5.
