Saudia (SV, Jeddah International) has filed schedules for the launch of B787-10 operations on March 29, 2020, Routes Online has reported.

According to the ch-aviation schedules module, the Saudi flag carrier tentatively plans to start operating the type 2x daily on the service between Jeddah International and Kuala Lumpur International. No other routes are currently scheduled to operate with the B787-10.

Saudia does not have any disclosed orders for the B787-10 from Boeing. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Saudia has already been assigned its first four B787-10s as msn 886, 918, 942, and 976.

The carrier already operates thirteen B787-9s. The carrier also wet-leases nine A330-200s from Onur Air, one A330-200 from Etihad Airways and seven B747-400s from Air Atlanta Icelandic. Saudia also operates a fleet of freighters consisting of four B747-400(F)s operated by AirACT, two B747-8(F)s, and four B777-Fs.
