Aeroméxico Cargo (México City International) will wet-lease in B767-200(F) capacity from US-based cargo carrier 21 Air (2I, Greensboro Piedmont Triad International). According to the North Carolinian carrier, it will connect Los Angeles International with México City International and Guadalajara, and points in Central America.

"At 21 Air, we have a successful track record in operating flight programs that demand high dispatch reliability performance, driven by a motivated team of professionals eager to deliver a quality service to AeroMéxico," 21 Air chairman, Adolfo Moreno, said in a statement.

21 Air was granted scheduled US-Mexico traffic rights by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) in July this year. Its fleet currently entails two B767-200(ERBDSF)s with plans to add a maiden B767-300F at some point during the fourth quarter of 2019.
