Stout Flying Service (Lewiston) has announced via its Facebook page that it will launch 2x weekly scheduled flights between Lewiston and Boise using a Turbo Commander 690A twin turboprop.

The flights are due to launch on September 2, 2019, and are scheduled to operate on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons.

Stout Flying Service is a Fixed Base Operator at Lewiston and has not, until now, operated any flights.

Lewiston lost connection to Boise, the state capital, after Horizon Air (QX, Seattle Tacoma International) pulled out of the airport in mid-2018. According to the ch-aviation schedules module, currently, the sole route from Lewiston is the 3x daily service to Salt Lake City operated by SkyWest Airlines (OO, Salt Lake City) on behalf of Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson).
