Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLITT) has tentatively awarded ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda) the bulk of 25 daytime take-off and landing slots at Tokyo Haneda that will come available with the onset of the Summer 2020 season.

According to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, MLITT has allocated 13.5 slots to ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda) and 11.5 slots to JAL - Japan Airlines (JL, Tokyo Haneda) to come available from March 29, 2020, onwards. The half slots will likely be used for flights that operate on select days of the week.

Given past governmental support for JAL, the ministry chose to uphold current precedent and favour ANA in the allocations, which are now subject to finalisation.
