Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo) is planning to provide a daily service to Paris Orly from early 2020, in addition to its existing services to Paris CDG.
From March 29, 2020, the Skyteam airline will offer an A320-200 service from its main hub at Moscow Sheremetyevo. Aeroflot currently provides 42x weekly flights from St. Petersburg and Sheremetyevo to CDG. According to the ch-aviation schedules module, Paris will become the only city in its European network to have flights to two of its main airports.
Aeroflot has also recently filed changes to its Tokyo operation, as the airline plans to switch its Sheremetyevo route from Tokyo Narita to Tokyo Haneda from March 29, 2020. The daily nine-hour, 25-minute sector utilises a B777-300(ER).
On November 29, Aeroflot Group announced that it was planning to expand its fleet by 31 aircraft up to 398 in 2020, with its low-cost carrier Pobeda (DP, Moscow Vnukovo) being the group's main growth driver.
