Logistics holding Zeitfracht has announced via its LinkedIn site that its two airline subsidiaries, WDL Aviation (Cologne/Bonn) and LGW - Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (Dortmund), will henceforth operate under a single brand German Airways (ZQ, Cologne/Bonn).

The holding underlined that the two airlines will retain their individual Air Operator's Certificates. Zeitfracht previously announced the merger of the administration of both airlines but stressed that they will continue to focus on separate business models. WDL Aviation focusses on short- and medium-term wet-leases using its fleet of three BAe 146-200s and three E190s, while LGW operates seventeen Dash 8-400s under a long-term partnership with Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf).

WDL Aviation also has two BAe 146-300(QT) which are in the process of being sold to Pionair Australia (PH, Sydney Bankstown), according to CargoFacts.
