Air Leap (Sweden) (Stockholm Arlanda) has announced in a social media post that it will add two ATR72-500 turboprops, its first ATR - Avions de Transport Régional aircraft, with their debut planned for early 2020.

The carrier did not reveal any further detail regarding the identity of the two aircraft nor its planned operations. Air Leap also did not respond to ch-aviation's request for comment.

The Swedish airline currently uses three Saab 340Bs to operate scheduled flights from Stockholm Arlanda to Mariehamn, Turku, Oslo Gardermoen, Jönköping, and Karlstad. The carrier's Norwegian subsidiary, virtual carrier Air Leap (Norway) (Oslo Gardermoen), operates services from Oslo to Ørland using its Swedish parent's Saab (Sweden) turboprops. It will also launch its first Norwegian PSO route on April 1, 2020, linking the capital with Røros.
