Just Us Air (Bucharest Baneasa) has been granted a Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) by the US Department for Transportation (DOT).

The carrier's application was filed with the DOT in August this year and the FACP will now allow it to conduct scheduled and charter services from any point or any point behind a European Union (EU) country, via any point in the EU or via other intermediate points, to any point in the US.

According to the ch-aviation schedules module, no airline currently offers flights between any points in Romania and the US. In the past, TAROM (RO, Bucharest Henri Coanda) has served New York JFK with its now-retired A310 fleet.

Based at Baneasa, Just Us Air, until now a charter and ACMI airline, currently boasts a fleet of three Airbuses, one A319-100, one A320-200, and one A321-200. All three aircraft are currently in Craiova for maintenance following the completion of summer ACMI contracts with SundAir (SR, Berlin Brandenburg International), Jazeera Airways (J9, Kuwait) and TUI fly (Germany) (X3, Hannover) respectively.
