21 Air (2I, Greensboro Piedmont Triad International) has added B767-300F capacity after having sourced a freighter of the type on an interchange basis from Mas Air (México City International), the American cargo specialist has announced.

The aircraft, msn 34627, will retain its American registration number N420LA. Flightradar24 ADS-B data indicates it continues to operate daily under MasAir's code, flying from México City International and Guadalajara to destinations in the United States and in South America. Mas Air will continue to be the primary operator, although the aircraft will be available to 21 Air, presumably on services between Mexico and the US or within the latter country.

21 Air currently operates two B767-200(F)s, of which one is wet-leased under a long-term contract to Aeroméxico Cargo (México City International) on routes connecting Los Angeles International to Guadalajara and Mexico City, and onwards to destinations in Central America. The other Boeing freighter is inactive.

The airline plans to add an in-house B767-300(ERF) by the end of 2019.

Mas Air was known as LATAM Cargo Mexico (México City International) before LATAM Airlines Group divested from the carrier in late 2018. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, it does not operate any other aircraft besides the single B767-300(ERF).
