Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM (Capua) has secured new firm orders for eleven Tecnam P2012s, including six for South Africa's charter operator Tamifield (Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) and five for Colombia's Charter Express (Guamal).

The Italian manufacturer said in a press release that the order from Tamifield, a subsidiary of AMRHO Group, also includes options for a further twelve twin-piston aircraft. Charter Express, in turn, secured options for an additional five units.

TECNAM recently delivered its first P2012s to Cape Air (9K, Hyannis) and ZilAir (SYZ, Mahé). The type has yet to enter commercial service and is scheduled to do so with Cape Air on December 14, 2019.
