S7 Airlines (S7, Novosibirsk) is intending to switch its Berlin services from Berlin Tegel to Berlin Brandenburg International from November 8, 2020, according to Routes Online, as airlines start to reveal their plans for the new Berlin airport ahead of its tentative October 31, 2020 opening.

The Oneworld carrier's service from Moscow Domodedovo will move as part of a three-step plan, which will see it transfer in phase three, along with the likes of Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and British Airways on November 8. The first transfer night takes place on November 1, 2020, with the second round on the night of November 3.

All flights into the new airport are operated by S7's A320-200neo fleet. The airline currently has 16 active A320-200neo in operation, as well as four A321-200neo. Its total fleet size has now reached 100 units, according to the ch-aviation fleets module.

The airline also operates into Düsseldorf and Munich in Germany, both from Domodedovo, although Munich also has a weekly service from Novosibirsk.
