China Eastern Airlines (MU, Shanghai Hongqiao) will utilise its A350-900 fleet from March 29 next year to commence a daily service from Beijing Daxing International to Paris CDG, its first intercontinental service from the new airport, according to a report on Routes Online.

Flight MU253 will leave China at 0100L and arrive at CDG at 0605L. The return sector MU254 departs France at 1420L and lands at Daxing at 0640L the next day.

The Chinese carrier currently flies 2x weekly from Kunming Changshui, 3x weekly from Qingdao Jiaodong and 14x weekly from Shanghai Pudong to the French capital city. According to the ch-aviation schedules module, the airline only has two international services from the Chinese capital city's new airport, namely to Da Nang and Fukuoka.

China Eastern has an active fleet of six A350-900s, with 14 still to be delivered as of November 30.
