British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) has now revealed three more US cities will also see B787-10 service from next summer.

The UK carrier had earlier confirmed that the first route for its B787-10 fleet last month was going to be Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson from next February. However, in a further update, starting from May 1, 2020, British Airways will utilise the B787-10 on its Oneworld hub connection service between London Heathrow and Dallas/Fort Worth on flights BA192/3. During the winter season, this route is flown daily by a B747-400, whereas during the Summer 2019 season it was operated by a B777-200(ER). Currently, American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) also flies the airport pair 24x weekly with a mixture of B777-300(ER) and B777-200(ER) aircraft, according to the ch-aviation schedules module.

Commencing on July 1, 2020, British Airways' next B787-10 US route will be on flights BA48/49 from Heathrow to Seattle Tacoma International. The new aircraft type will replace one of the airline 2x daily services to the US destination. Although flown by a B777-200(ER) during the winter, in the Summer 2019 season this particular flight was operated by one of the airline's B747-400s. Virgin Atlantic (VS, London Heathrow) provides a daily service to Seattle during the present winter season.

The third and final new B787-10 route will be launched on September 3, 2020 from Heathrow to Nashville International. Flights BA222/223 are presently flown 5x weekly by a B787-8, but were operated daily over the summer by its B787-9 fleet. No other carrier flies this city pair.

The IAG International Airlines Group carrier will take delivery of twelve B787-10s from Boeing, with six arriving next year. British Airways currently has twelve B787-8s and eighteen B787-9s aircraft in its fleet.

According to the ch-aviation fleets advanced module, other airlines already flying the B787-10 include ANA - All Nippon Airways, Etihad Airways, EVA Air, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Saudia, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines, and Vietnam Airlines.
