Flair Airlines (F8, Kelowna) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the lease of more B737 aircraft with deliveries in early 2020.

The Canadian LCC said in a press release that it had "immediate plans to expand its services both in frequency and reach. This step is almost complete, with the remaining critical step being a fleet renewal and expansion plan."

According to the RFP, Flair is seeking expressions of interest from lessors with B737-700 and/or B737-800 aircraft available in a typical LCC all-economy configuration. The aircraft should be available for dry lease for periods up to eight years with delivery in either 1Q or 2Q 2020.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the airline currently operates three B737-800s and two active B737-400s. It also has a further two -400s in storage at Kansas City International airport.
