Batik Air (ID, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) has taken delivery of its first A320-200neo in the form of PK-BDF (msn 9505).

The aircraft was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac via Abu Dhabi Bateen and Kuala Lumpur International to Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta over the course of February 1-2, 2020, RadarBox24 ADS-B data shows. It was subsequently welcomed during an official ceremony in the Indonesian capital on February 3.

The Airbus narrowbody is equipped with 156 passenger seats, including 12 in business class and 144 in economy.

Batik Air, a full-service carrier owned by Lion Air Group, currently operates forty-four A320-200s, one A330-300, six B737-800s, and six B737-900(ER)s. The airline has yet to schedule any A320neo-operated flights.

Parent airline Lion Air, which itself exclusively operates Boeing narrowbodies, has 113 A320neo and sixty-five A321-200neo on firm order from Airbus as of December 31, 2019, the ch-aviation fleets module shows.
