Poland's emergency medical services air operator Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (LPR, Warsaw Babice) has awarded Bombardier Business Aircraft (Montréal Trudeau) a tender for the delivery of two medevac-capable business jets.

"The acquisition of the new Learjet 75 Liberty aircraft fits perfectly into our strategic plans for growth in Poland and will provide the necessary combination of speed and range to drive the expansion of our operational capabilities and EMS transport availability into international operations," LPR Director of key project management Wojciech Woźniczka said.

The Canadian manufacturer will sell two Learjet 75 Liberty jets to North Dakota-based Fargo Jet Center, which will outfit the aircraft with medevac equipment and deliver them to Poland. Deliveries to the outfitter are planned for late 2020 and to the medevac operator in Poland in 2021.

The two jets will join LPR's existing fleet of twenty-seven Airbus Helicopters H135s and two Piaggio Avantis. The medevac operator is wholly-state-owned.
