iAero Airways (WQ, Greensboro Piedmont Triad International) has taken delivery of its first B737-800(BDSF) converted freighter in the form of N916SC (msn 30498), Skyliner Aviation reported.

The aircraft was converted at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion by Israel Aerospace Industries in 2019. According to Flightradar24 ADS-B data, it was ferried via Shannon and Portland International Jetport to Lake City, FL over the course of December 15-16, 2019, repositioned to Miami Opa-Locka in mid-January 2020, and subsequently ferried back to Tel Aviv via Shannon on February 9-10 in DHL Express livery.

iAero Airways, formerly known as Swift Air (United States of America), did not respond to ch-aviation's request for more information.

The American ACMI/charter specialist is predominantly active in the passenger market with its fleet of eight B737-300s, twenty-one B737-400s, and five B737-800s. However, according to the ch-aviation fleets module, the airline also deploys a single freighter, a B737-300(F), for cargo charters predominantly between Miami International and points in Central America and the Carribean.
