iAero Airways (WQ, Greensboro Piedmont Triad International) has added its first P2F-converted B737-800(F), Israel Aerospace Industries (Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) has reported.

N916SC (msn 30498) is the first B737-800(BDSF) to be delivered by the Israeli engineering specialist after it received its supplemental type certificate earlier this month. The former Transaero Airlines aircraft was ferried from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion via Shannon to Greensboro Piedmont Triad International over the course of April 8-9, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. iAero Airways is due to take its second B737-800(F) from IAI in May.

Both aircraft will operate on behalf of DHL Express.

Formerly known as Swift Air (United States of America), iAero Airways has so far operated only a single dedicated freighter, a B737-300(F). In addition, it also operates a passenger fleet of eight B737-300s, twenty B737-400s, and five B737-800s, the ch-aviation fleets module shows.

Besides IAI, Boeing and AEI also have supplemental type certificates for their own B737-800 P2F-conversion processes
