ATI - Air Transport International (8C, Wilmington Air Park) will retain two of its B757-200(F)s at least through the end of 2020, the carrier's parent Air Transport Services Group said in its quarterly earnings release.

"Two of ATSG's four B757-200 freighters are expected to remain available for service through 2020, although current DHL Express commitments for ATSG's B757-200 freighters ended May 1," the group said.

Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows that the three B757-200(F)s operated by ATI for DHL through May 1 - N531UA (msn 25042), N557CM (msn 23687), and N605DL (msn 22812) - have been stored at Wilmington Air Park since May 2. A fourth, N620DL (msn 22910), was retired at the end of 2019.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the four aircraft are 33 years old on average and are owned by ATSG's in-house leasing arm Cargo Aircraft Management.

While the group did not give an explicit reason for retaining the B757-200(F)s, it noted that the revenue from its ACMI operations increased by 10% in the first quarter of 2020. Between January and March 2020, ATSG overall inflows grew by 12% to USD389.3 million while its net earnings rose more than sixfold to USD137.5 million.

ATI also operates four B757-200(M) combi aircraft, as well as seven B767-300Fs and twenty-one B767-200(F). ATSG also owns ABX Air (GB, Wilmington Air Park) and Omni Air International (OY, Tulsa International).
