Air Falcon (FPK, Lahore International) has taken delivery of its first aircraft, an ex-Southwest Airlines PEMCO P2F-converted freighter. Rostrum Leasing Ireland said B737-300(BCF) N640SW (msn 27713) would be ferried to Karachi International from Victorville over the course of May 15-18. It will be followed by a second within the following month.

"We are excited to receive our first freighter aircraft from Rostrum Leasing for induction in Air Falcon," Mian Nabeel Ashraf, Air Falcon's managing director and chief executive, said in a statement.

"Two more freighters will join the fleet soon to complete the fleet of three freighters in Phase one of our business plan. These B737-300/400Fs will provide service to our domestic and regional clients."

Ashraf added that Air Falcon would venture into passenger services during Phase two of its plan. Here, a fleet of up to five ATR72-500s will be acquired towards the end of 2020.
