Yuva JetLines Airways (Ranchi) has changed its launch plans and now intends to operate E190/E195 regional jets, rather than E145s.

According to the start-up's website, it hopes to launch in early 2021 with a base at Ranchi airport in north-eastern India. It did not reveal any further details about its proposed network.

YuvaJet's earlier plan called for launch by July 2020 using two E145s. Its original strategy, which initially foresaw a launch in 2017, was based on using ATR72-600 turboprops to connect various airports in north-eastern India, including Kolkata, under the framework of the government-run UDAN subsidy scheme.

The start-up did not respond to ch-aviation's request for further information.
