Tayaranjet (Sofia) is planning to launch its first international route, from Sofia to Catania, during the Summer 2020 season as it expands on the scheduled market in the wake of the collapse of the ACMI/charter sector.

According to the airline's online route map, it will operate from the Bulgarian capital to Sicily 2x weekly, although it has yet to confirm the service's launch date. Tickets are not currently available either.

Tayaran Jet, which used to proffer its three B737-300s primarily to the ACMI/charter market before the COVID-19 crisis (with now-defunct Air Italy (Milan Malpensa) as one of its main long-term customers), has already announced plans to enter the domestic Italian market with scheduled flights to Sicily (Catania, Comiso, and Palermo International) from Rome Fiumicino and Bologna starting on July 20, 2020.
