Samoa Airways (OL, Apia Faleolo) has announced it has suspended its last active route, from Apia Faleolo to Pago Pago in American Samoa, due to restrictions imposed by the American Samoa Department of Health.

The flights, Samoa Airways' only international service at this time, were operated on special terms as repatriation flights through June 24, using DHC-6-300 turboprops. The airline suspended all services to American Samoa, including repatriation charters, effective June 25 and for an indefinite period.

The suspension also affects domestic sectors within American Samoa; from Pago Pago to Ofu and to Fitiuta.

Samoa Airways' other international routes, to Sydney Kingsford Smith, Brisbane International, and Auckland International, have been suspended since March due to COVID-related border restrictions. The carrier does not operate any domestic flights within Samoa.
