An unidentified Australian start-up is seeking B757/B767-rated pilots and other professionals for proposed operations out of Brisbane International, Travel Weekly has reported.

The job advertisements were placed by aviation consultancy Complete Aviation Solutions. Besides chief pilot, the start-up is also looking for a head of continuing airworthiness and maintenance.

While scant on details, the start-up plans to operate international routes beginning in early 2021 and touts itself as a "new airline", presumably with no ties to any of the existing carriers. It is unclear if the proposed airline will focus on the passenger or cargo market.

Brisbane hosts the corporate headquarters of Virgin Australia (VA, Brisbane International) and Alliance Airlines (QQ, Brisbane International), and is a base for Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith), Jetstar Airways (JQ, Melbourne Tullamarine), Tigerair Australia (Melbourne Tullamarine), multiple other regional airlines, and business charter specialists.
