Nauru Airlines (ON, Nauru) will add a third B737-300(F) which will see the state-owned airline operating more freighters than passenger aircraft once the unit has completed conversion and is re-inducted into service.

VH-YNU (msn 25607) is currently operated by Nauru Airlines in a passenger configuration, although it has only been deployed sporadically due to the suspension of the carrier's international scheduled services caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will enter conversion with Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) at Commercial Jet's Miami International facility in mid-January 2021 and is scheduled for redelivery in May 2021.

AEI is currently converting another ex-passenger B737-300 for Nauru Airlines, VH-ONU (msn 28732), temporarily re-registered as N732NA. The airline's current active cargo fleet consists of a single B737-300(F).

Nauru Airlines also has three passenger B737-300s, including VH-YNU due for conversion, the ch-aviation fleets module shows. All of them are operated through its technical subsidiary Nauru Airlines (Australia) (ON, Brisbane International). As such, following the re-delivery of both converted aircraft, the airline's fleet will include three freighters and two passenger jets.
