Dow Chemical (Baton Rouge) has taken delivery of its first CRJ900ER, one of the last of the type to roll off the Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) production line.

N890D (msn 15496) was ferried from Montréal Mirabel via Saginaw to the company's base at Baton Rouge on December 30. On January 3, it then flew to Cleveland Hopkins, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.

The US multinational chemical conglomerate already operates two CRJ700 Srs 702ERs, which are 10 years old on average and were both active in December 2020.

According to the ch-aviation fleets advanced module, there remain just four CRJ900s to be delivered - two assigned to Jazz Air (QK, Halifax) for Air Canada regional operations, one for Endeavor Air (9E, Minneapolis/St. Paul) for Delta Air Lines operations, and one earmarked for an undisclosed customer.
