Cargo B Airlines (BB, Liège) has taken delivery of two new B747-400F freighters leased from NCA – Nippon Cargo Airlines (KZ/Tokyo Narita) and has retired its B747-200Fs as a result. It will move its cargo operations from Brussels Ntl to Liege as of July. Cargo B has entered into a cooperation agreement with Astral Aviation (8V/Nairobi Intl) to offer connections from Nairobi to neighboring countries.

Unlike previously reported by CH-Aviation, it will not take delivery of two ex-Aero Mongolia Fokker 100s however. It will then operate seven Fokker 100s on behalf of Lufthansa (LH/Frankfurt Intl) and its Swiss (LX/Zurich) subsidiary.

CSA Czech Airlines (OK, Prague) has now been officially put up for sale by the Czech government that still owns 91.5% of the carrier. Air France (AF/Paris CDG), private equity investor Odien and a consortium of Czech companies Unimex and Travel Service Airlines (QS/Prague) have been shortlisted in the first round of bids.
